CoA Nexus Inc. (the “Company”) operates a talent matching service specialized in research and development professionals and related businesses. With respect to information that can identify a specific individual handled in the course of the Company’s business (the “Personal Information”), the Company establishes this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) as follows and endeavors to protect Personal Information.
Unless otherwise provided, terms used in this Policy shall have the meanings defined in the CoA Researcher Terms of Use and the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003, Japan) (the “APPI”).
Taking into account the Company’s business structure, the Company appoints a person responsible for management of Personal Information and acquires, manages, uses, and provides Personal Information by lawful and appropriate methods in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In using Personal Information, the Company will not use it beyond the scope necessary to achieve the specified purposes of use, and will implement appropriate measures to prevent such unauthorized use.
In operations that handle Personal Information, the Company shall comply with the APPI and guidelines and other standards established by the government, and shall act in accordance with internal rules.
To ensure proper handling of Personal Information, the Company will conduct training and awareness activities for employees and implement necessary and appropriate security measures to prevent and correct leakage, loss, destruction, or damage of Personal Information handled by the Company.
The Company will establish a point of contact to receive complaints and consultations from individuals regarding the handling of Personal Information and the Company’s personal information protection management system and will respond appropriately.
The Company will review the personal information protection management system to ensure that protection measures remain appropriate and will endeavor to continuously improve such system.
